Workshops for Groups

 Workshops and short courses can be tailored for the needs and interests of your group. 
Many courses can be facilitated using Zoom.  Please feel free to get in touch to discuss options. 

Decoupage craft workshops

Learn the fun (and often addictive) craft of decoupage, working to transform a wood item such as a tray or small table. Learn to transform items using a range colours and decorative patterns. Learn how to use paint and decorative effects that you can apply to other projects. Suitable for beginners.

Macrame for Beginners Workshop / Course

Learn the popular and trendy craft of macramé! In this beginner's class, learn how to create designs and knots. Create a lovely wall hanging choosing from a selection of beads. Once you learn the basics, you'll be able to create other decorative pieces for the home. A great way to decorate and so much fun! All materials supplied.

Felt Flower crafting Courses

Learn how to create lovely, hand crafted flowers!  You'll make a variety of shapes and sizes, and can add beads or embroidery to enhance your piece.  Learn how to arrange your beautiful flowers on a canvas or a wreath base. A relaxing, versatile craft. 

Watercolour pencil cards (beginners)

Learn how to use watercolour pencils to create hand painted cards.  Enjoy the process of making your own unique cards, which can also be framed. Relax and craft, letting worries or stresses slip away. No drawing or painting skills needed for this relaxing class. (Also available on Zoom.)

Bird house  Decorating Workshop

Decorate a bird box for the garden. Choose from a selection of colours and design patterns to personalise your piece. Learn to apply the art of 'decoupage' to create your unique, decorated project, which looks painted but is easier to master.  Suitable for beginners; no previous experience is necessary. 

Cross stitch courses for Beginners

An age old craft that is making a huge come back! Learn how to create fun projects with cross stitch and embroidery skills. Learn the basics and create a small piece to hang on the wall. Basic sewing skills useful but not necessary for this course. Also available on zoom.

Available for small hen groups of up to 15 people! Enjoy a creative workshop and make a lovely keepsake, or make wedding decorations. Workshop themes include:  flower arranging, felt flower making, craft your own tables vases, floral crowns, wreaths, or enjoy a decoupage craft. A range of colour schemes available.  

Flower Arranging
on a budget

Learn the basics of fresh flower arranging, and how to make different styles of arrangements. Learn to use flowers in season and how to incorporate plants from the garden.  Can be delivered as a workshop or a 5 week course with different floral arranging styles. A creative course everyone loves!

Autumn Wreaths & Arrangements

Autumn is a lovely time of year and perfect for flower arranging, door wreaths and seasonal crafts. Create a door wreath or table centrepiece using artificial / faux seasonal flowers and greenery. Learn tips and techniques used in floristry, to create your own unique arrangement to take home. Great value for money.

Fabric painting

Learn how to paint on fabric and create this vibrant peacock bag! Enjoy the process of building up colour and learning to paint on fabric. No drawing or painting skills required.

Rock painting -  abstract designs

Learn how relaxing it is to prime and paint rocks. You'll learn how to use acrylic paints and dotting tools to create a range of designs including creating 'mandela' art (pictured) and lovely lady birds and bees for the garden. A great course for summer and for relaxation and mindfulness.

Beginner's embroidery course

Embroidery is popular again - its relaxing, creative and great for self care practice! In this course, learn the basic stitches to create flowers and leaves. Enjoy working with your hands as you create a piece to hang on the wall or give as a gift. Basic sewing skills recommended but not required.

Mosaics courses
​for beginners

Create fun projects using mosaic tiles! Learn how to create projects using stones, tiles and other mediums. You’ll create your own unique project and learn how to use basic tools for mosaics, as well as how to apply adhesive and grout. A fun, creative course for beginners.

Loom weaving for beginners

Learn the traditional craft of loom weaving and make a unique wall hanging. In this course, you'll learn a range of weaving techniques using a small wooden loom. Choose from a range of fabrics, textures and colours to add interest to your piece. Learn new skills and enjoy this versatile craft. A traditional craft that is becoming popular again.

 Furniture Makeover
Upcycle course

Transform a small piece of furniture over several weeks, that you would otherwise take to a charity shop. You'll have access to sandpaper and several shades of paint to change the look of your piece. This is a great way to repurpose a small piece of furniture such as a table, wood candlesticks, mirror or other small household item. Notes: group venues should have suitable space to store items in between course dates.

Garden design for beginners

Begin the process of creating your dream garden with this beginner's course. Learn the basic principles of garden design, plan your garden by creating a mood board & focus your ideas to help visualise the dream. This course provides lots of ideas and inspiration to help you make the most of your outdoor space.

garden themed decoupage Crafting

Design and decorate an item for the garden such as a watering can or plant pot, using a fun technique called decoupage. This technique looks painted but is easier to master! No previous crafting experience needed. Suitable for all ages. All materials supplied.

Gardening 
​Courses

Gardening is one of the best activities for our health and welling. Workshop themes  include how to grow flowers, herbs and vegetables; planting seasonal tubs & containers; growing from seed; gardening for seasonal colour, and introduction to garden design.
