Workshops for Groups

Let's Craft NI offers art and craft classes including painting classes, flower arranging and wreath making classes, and a range of crafting courses and workshops that can be tailored to the needs and specific interests of your group in Belfast and throughout Northern Ireland. We provide an outreach arts and crafts service and we are happy to provide a quote for group workshops. If you don't see what you are looking for on our website, please feel free to contact us to discuss bespoke courses and options for your charity, community or corporate organisation.  We also offer arts and crafts courses that can be facilitated using Zoom, where craft packs can be provided to participants.

Autumn Wreaths & Arrangements

Autumn is a lovely time of year and perfect for flower arranging, door wreaths and seasonal crafts. Learn tips and techniques used in floristry, to create your own unique arrangement to take home. Fresh or artificial floral workshops are available. Suitable for beginners

Watercolour Painting for Beginners

Our Watercolour Painting classes are perfect for beginners. We tailor classes so they are enjoyable, with or without drawing in class! Learn how relaxing painting can be! We specialise in floral painting where you will create your own unique greeting cards, or art to frame. Our painting classes can be delivered as a taster one-off workshop, or as a longer course covering more content. No previous painting experience is needed. (Also available on Zoom.)

Loom weaving for beginners

Learn the traditional craft of loom weaving using a hand loom, and make your own unique wall hanging. Choose from a range of fabrics, textures and colours as you learn weaving techniques. A traditional craft that has become popular again. A fun course for beginners and craft enthusiasts.

embroidery courseS, cross stitch, applique

Embroidery is relaxing and great for self care! You'll learn basic stitches to create flowers,  leaves and shapes. You'll create a class project such as a fabric tote bag, or a piece to hang on the wall. Courses usually delivered over 6 weeks; group bookings only. Basic hand sewing skills recommended but not essential.

Macrame for Beginners Workshop / Course

In our popular and trendy macramé classes, you'll learn how to make decorative knots that are used to create gorgeous tactile projects such as wall art or plant pot holders! You'll personalise your project and add decorative touches using beads and accent colours. All materials supplied. Suitable for beginners.

Decoupage crafting workshops

In this 2 hour workshop, you'll learn the fun craft of decoupage, transforming an item (e.g. wood tray, bird box, small table) into something decorative. Choose from a selection of colours and patterns to personalise your piece. Looks painted but easier to master! Suitable for beginners; no previous experience is necessary. 

Sun Catcher
​acrylic Painting 

Everyone can learn to paint! In this class, learn how to use acrylic paints to create a beautiful standing art work. Looks great near a window for a 'stained glass or sun catcher effect'. Choose your floral and colours to personalise your piece. No drawing or painting skills needed. Suitable for all levels including beginners.

spring / Easter / summer door Wreaths 

In this 1.5 hour workshop, create a Spring or Summer wreath using artificial / faux flowers and greenery. Learn tips and techniques used in floristry, to create your own unique indoor/ outdoor floral to take home. Suitable for all levels including beginners. A popular workshop where your creativity will blossom. Also available on zoom.

Felt Flower crafting Courses

Learn how to create lovely, hand crafted flowers using felt!  A range of class projects are available from wreath making to making broach or hat pins. A fun, versatile craft. Contact us to discuss class project ideas for your group. Please note: difficulty level is medium.

Watercolour pencil cards (beginners)

Learn how to use watercolour pencils to create hand painted cards.  Enjoy the process of making your own unique cards, which can also be framed. Relax and craft, letting worries or stresses slip away. No drawing or painting skills needed for this relaxing class. (Also available on Zoom.)

Flower Arranging Courses | Workshops

Enjoy learning the basics of fresh flower arranging, creating a seasonal table centrepiece to take home. Our flower arranging classes can be delivered as a single workshop, or a longer 4 or 6 week course focusing on different floral arranging styles in each class. Suitable for all levels including beginners.

hen Party Crafts and
​Event workshops

Available for small hen groups of up to 15 people! Enjoy a creative workshop and make a lovely keepsake, or make wedding decorations. Workshop themes include:  flower arranging, felt flower making, craft your own tables vases, floral crowns, wreaths, or enjoy a decoupage craft. A range of colour schemes available.  

Mosaics courses
​for beginners

Create fun, unique mosaic projects! Learn how to use basic tools for mosaics, and how to apply adhesive and grout. Suitable for beginners, our mosaic courses are usually over a 3 to 6 week period. Our classes are a great introduction to mosaics and how it can be used for creative individual and group projects.

Paper Crafting with  Decoupage

Decoupage is a fun craft that is suitable and fun for all ages and abilities. This paper crafting technique looks painted but uses paper and glue! Participants will personalise their pieces in class and learn how to apply this technique to other projects. Contact us to discuss class project ideas for your group. 

Mixed media journalling course

Our Mixed Media Journalling Course focuses on visual journalling techniques as a gentle introduction to journalling, its benefits, and different approaches to beginning to journal. Participants will use mixed media arts and crafts such as stencilling, collage, paint effects as well as using writing prompts.
